Commercial Property Lawyer / Solicitor – Tunbridge Wells – 1-2yrs+ PQE (Hybrid Working opportunities!)
 
TN Recruits have a fantastic new opportunity with this highly regarded and successful law firm, located in the heart of Tunbridge Wells!
 
Based within their busy and growing Commercial property team, they are seeking an ambitious and attentive Commercial Property Lawyer with 1-2 yrs+ PQE, who is keen to increase their technical knowledge, whilst advising on quality Commercial Property matters and enjoying autonomy.
 
You will be working alongside highly talented and experienced professionals, who will provide you with the skills and opportunities to propel your legal career. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, conducting a full and varied caseload of work for new and existing clients.
 
You will be covering the following areas within Commercial Property Law:
  • Commercial leases for both landlord and tenant
  • Ancillary matters to leases e.g. licences to assign, deeds of variation, assignments and surrenders
  • Sales and purchases of commercial property, both freehold and long leasehold
  • Financing for commercial property
  • Option agreements, overage, conditional contracts for residential development sites
  • Set up of sale packs for development sites
You should also have knowledge of the following:
  • An understanding of which standard enquiries to raise in transactions
  • Knowledge of Part II Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and procedures for excluding leases
  • Be adept to dealing with sales and purchases of parts of a title and understanding transfer of part provisions to include.

Salary: £DOE 
23 days annual leave + BH’s. Discretionary Bonus scheme, Contributory Pension Scheme, Life Insurance, EAP.
Hours: 9am – 5:15pm Monday to Friday (Hybrid working available)
Location: Tunbridge Wells (parking available)
