Commercial Property Acquisition Manager

Quest Search & Selection are partnering with this consumer business comprising of over 110 units, including High Street & Destination sites.

As the Commercial Property Acquisition Manager, your primary role involves overseeing the acquisition of the company's commercial property portfolio including stores , head offices and DC's. This role aligns with the company's expansion program as well as identifying opportunities to enhance and extract value and profit.

Key responsibilities of Commercial Property Acquisition Manager -

• Take accountability for the preparation of the property administration cost controls and budgets.
• Oversee the performance of the New Stores Team
• Take responsibility for the acquisition of new stores, negotiating and agreeing the location, rent and size of properties.
• Present opportunities to Directors for approval of selected stores, providing recommendations as necessary and undertaking property due diligence.
• Be responsible for appointing external consultants in relation to professional issues.
• Identifying opportunities in new stores for subletting surplus space
• As part of the store site selection process, undertake UK travel, wherever the need exists.
• Ensure direct reports are developed and trained and that any external consultants are aware of expectations and making sure they are reviewed against their project timeline.

To be successful in this of Commercial Property Acquisition Manager -

• You need to have at least 5-7 + years' experience in a Property acquisition/ Property Surveyor/property portfolio manager role within commercial properties.
• You must have experience in the acquisition in retail, hospitality or entertainment facilities.
• If you worked on property acquisitions for DC's or central head offices, this is also desirable.
• You should be working on behalf of a company or agency.
• You must hold a full driving license.
• You must be ok to travel to Carlisle (regularly) and other sites in the North they are keen to acquire.
• RCIS qualified is desirable but not essential.
