Commercial Officer

You will be an integral part of the process of winning contracts with new customers as a Commercial Officer.

What your day will look like in this role?

• Business Strategy - Working alongside the business development team to ensure competition of contract on boarding.
• Contract Delivery - Being an integral part of the delivery process to ensure standards are met for customers.
• General administration where required to complete this role.
• Drafting of confidential documentation for customers (NDAs, Loan, License agreements)
• Development and initial relationship building with new and existing customers.
• Liaising with senior management with updates and progress on customer contracts.
• Problem solving and analysing of complex issues.

The ideal person for this role will come from a commercially led role within bid tendering or contract management. Experience within the defence industry would be beneficial but our client is open to industry, the ability to work collaboratively and at a fast pace to ensure deadlines are met. You must a confident communicator externally and internally and have experience of drafting, negotiating, and agreeing contracts.

Our client does offer a flexible blended work week, with the ability to work 2 days from home after initial training and on-boarding.
