£80,000 - £100,000 + Package + Progression to Director + Travel

This multi-disciplinary construction company provide services across both the public and private sectors. They have a have a proven record of delivering a variety of high-quality design & build projects to residential, commercial, industrial, education, heritage, retail and leisure clientele. The business has managed to maintain a strong order book in a challenging industry due to their high-levels of service. They are now searching for a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial team & support the next phase of growth.

In this role you report to the Directors of the business, and lead a small commercial team with plans in place to grow. You working with a variety of clients across different sectors within Construction, you will oversee the entire commercial function across the business. This will be an office based role near Luton with occasional travel to each site.
The ideal candidate will either be an aspiring Senior QS looking to step into a Commercial Manager role, or an existing Commercial Manager that is looking for a new challenge with future progression to Director available. You will have experience in contracts, claims, and adjudication. This would suit someone who has worked in a small/medium sized business who has experience working across lots of commercial activities. You will be highly motivated and looking to play a significant role in the company's future.

The Role:
*Take ownership of commercial function of the business
*Leading a small commercial team
*Working on a variety of construction projects for residential, commercial, industrial, education, heritage, retail and leisure clientele

*Office based near Luton, with site travel when required

The Person:
*Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager
*Broad knowledge of construction design and build projects
*Highly motivated with a desire to take on more responsibility and progress to Director
*Lives a commutable distance from Luton
