Commercial Manager

Salary to £75k | Annual Bonus | Company Vehicle or Allowance + Fuel card | Pension | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Essentials:

* Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have full commercial responsibility over a range of utility projects under NEC form of contract

* Your role will heavily involve ensuring that correct contractual procedures are applied for all projects, maintaining compliance with the company policies and procedures

* Responsible for change control processes and financial risk management at project level

* Reviewing CVR's and margin analysis for projects on a regular basis for financial reporting

* Reviewing project applications and forecasts on a regular basis with regard to monitoring actual performance against budget; providing updates and action plans

* Produce cashflow forecasts and keep updated and report on variances

* Regularly review the supply chain; ensuring best value, including negotiation and award of subcontracts

* Ensure business targets and KPI's are exceeded and that problems are identified and resolved at an early stage

* Ensuring that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised

* It will be your responsibility to ensure that accurate commercial records are kept

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a commercial professional on utility contracts

* Professionally qualified in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying

* Good knowledge of NEC forms of contract
