Commercial Management Accountant hybird

My client is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting and business partnering non-finance stakeholders.

Our client is a well established manufacturing business based in Newark.

Description

You will be working closely with the Site Finance Business Partner to deliver reporting and analysis, and support the business with understanding and driving financial performance. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Collaborating with various non-finance stakeholders and supporting them with driving financial performance across the site.
• Assist in the production of weekly and monthly management accounts and reports
• Supporting with the budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting processes
• Analysing costs and variances for various areas of the site, and support non-finance stakeholders with understanding these
• Analysing raw data for review, control and cost reduction
• Attend site meetings as the finance expect, where you will provide support and challenge
• Ad hoc analysis

Profile

To apply for this position, you must:

• Have proven experience of working in management accounts and analysis
• Will ideally be studying an accounting qualification e.g. AAT, CIMA or ACCA
• Have strong excel skills e.g. v look ups and pivot tables
• Have excellent communication skills

Job Offer

Our client is offering:

• £41,000 - £49,000
• Study support for AAT, CIMA or ACCA
• Hybrid working - 1 day PW home working
• 8:45-5 Monday to Thursday, and 8:45-4:45 on Fridays
