Commercial Insurance Account Executive / Insurance Broker with experience managing qualified new business enquiries, arranging cross-class insurance programs, proficiency in key commercial insurance lines and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills is required for a well-established insurance brokerage based in Hungerford, Berkshire.

SALARY: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (Basic Salary) / £50,000 - £70,000 OTE+ Benefits

LOCATION: Hungerford, West Berkshire / Hybrid - This role will initially be office-based, but there is potential for migration to a hybrid work arrangement following a satisfactorily completed, initial period.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday - Flexitime (Hours to be Discussed at Interview)

As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive / Insurance Broker you will manage qualified new business enquiries, to help capitalise on the raft of new opportunities that the brokerage is generating.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive / Insurance Broker will include:

• You will be provided with a steady flow of qualified, commercial leads by their in-house marketing team, which you will follow up on

• You will establish rapport with clients and carry out a detailed fact find meeting so as to understand their unique insurance needs

• Approach the appropriate insurance markets and negotiate the best possible terms on the clients behalf, once you have collated the necessary risk information and determined the clients preferences

• Present your collated recommendations to the client and take their instructions where you will process the relevant policy documentation, invoices and premium finance agreements ensuring the client is properly protected

• Develop new client relationships, providing expert advice on cross-class insurance programs, including property, liability, professional lines and cyber insurance

• Meet and exceed financial performance targets, demonstrating accountability for your results

• Mentor junior brokers, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional growth

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Commercial insurance broking experience

• Significant experience in arranging cross-class insurance programs

• Proficiency in key commercial insurance lines, including property, liability, professional lines, and cyber insurance

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport with clients

• A track record of being accountable for financial performance targets

• The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
