Commercial Insight Analyst (x2)- Growing, international food business

Based: Near Guildford (hybrid -1/2 days per week in office)

Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits and bonus

An exciting opportunity now exists to work as a Commercial Insight Analyst in this dynamic food business in Surrey which has expanded rapidly in the last couple of years and now operates on a truly international basis.

Reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce, the Commercial Insight Analyst role is a newly created role and responsibilities will include:

  • business partnering with the commercial,operational and finance teams
  • producer regular and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions
  • analytical support will include; gross margin analysis, pricing analysis,promotional analysis etc
  • day to day maintenance of data dashboards
  • ad hoc project work

Requirements for this Commercial Insight Analyst are as follows:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, maths, statistics or economics
  • 2+ years of commercial business partnering / analytics / data experience
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI and basic coding skills essential
  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling and experience of working with complex data
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
