Commercial Gas Engineer

We're currently recruiting for our client, a heating specialist based in the Ipswich area who operate through the local area. They're looking for a commercial gas engineer, to work across their commercial contracts carrying out a range of works.

The Commercial Gas Service Engineer will be tasked with the service/maintenance and occasionally install work of commercial natural gas boilers and appliances. The Commercial Gas Engineer will also be required to have strong fault finding skills along with previous install experience advantageous. Sites will include buildings such as schools, offices, hospitals and other similar commercial based sites.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will be required to hold in date Commercial ACS Gas Tickets (COCN1, CODNCO1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 etc.) and have passed an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview

Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, a specialist contractor based in the Ipswich area. They offer service, maintenance install and breakdown contracts to commercial based clientele. Our client currently require this Commercial Gas Engineer to cover a patch around Ipswich.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Requirements

• 5+ years experience carrying out servicing and repair work on commercial heating systems.
• Up to date Commercial Gas Tickets
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating
• Must be based within approximately 20 - 25 miles of Ipswich.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
• Company Van, with some private use available
• Overtime paid at x1.5
• Potential for ongoing training
• Working hours 8am to 5pm
• 28 days annual leave
