Role: Commercial Finance Manager

The Accountancy and Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently working with a reputable FMCG Business based in Kettering who due to growth are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you

will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy, managing financial operations, and providing financial leadership and guidance to support business growth and profitability. You will lead the finance function to drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities as the Commercial Finance Manager include:

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
• Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate commercial strategies and initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to increase revenue and profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and improve financial performance.
• Manage and mentor a team of the finance team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Finance Professional with minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
• Manufacturing, Retail or FMCG industry experience
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a strong track record of driving business performance and delivering actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
