  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the Bury office and 2 days from home

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will manage, work alongside and support the Commercial Operations team in developing and maintaining budgeting and forecasting models, supported by reports specifically designed to maintain high levels of accuracy.

You will also be responsible for providing timely and accurate commercial reporting and financial models to support key stakeholders with strategic decision making and prospect clients proposals.

Key responsibilities will include; 
  • Enhance, manage and maintain budgetary controls and sign off procedures.
  • Oversee, guide and support in the production of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, within agreed timescales and to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensure all business activity is aligned to deliver profitability targets, through key metrics reporting and continuous review of yields and margins, providing insights and recommendations as required.
  • Continually review the budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring aligned to business strategy, developing model as required.
  • Production of forecast and financial analysis making recommendations to the management board and directorate, including variance and sensitivity analysis.
  • Ensure all key commercial reports are prioritised and developed with agreed timescales.
  • Support in evaluating the commercial potential of new products and schemes, providing revenue/margin forecasts and sensitivity analysis.
  • Management of a small team of Commercial Analysts including conducting regular 1-2-1's and performance reviews 
  • Guide and mentor Commercial team to develop skills and commercial acumen
  • Working collaboratively to ensure that all business plans are aligned to treasury and funding plans.
  • Providing commercial project analysis to assist future business investment
  • Presenting commercial updates at monthly board meetings - excellent communication skills are a must!
You must have relevant Commercial Finance experience, relevant Finance qualifications aren't required but would be beneficial. You must also possess excellent Excel skills / knowledge.

We are looking for a real self starter who can take ownership of tasks and projects, and someone who can communicate at all levels across the business, not just within Finance.
