The Role
Exciting Organisation - Commercial FP&A Role - Finance Business Partnering - 18 Month FTC
We are working with an exciting, growing business who are hiring a Commercial Finance Analyst on an 18 Month Fixed Term basis. Joining the organisation at a pivotal time, this role will support the FP&A Manager in developing financial models and underpin group financial planning processes. There will be a particular focus on supporting the group commercial team with existing commercial processes. 
Areas of responsibility will include:
  • Developing financial planning models and validity checking robustness
  • Working with large data sets and producing/presenting strategic outputs 
  • Analysis of commercial processes, tenders and proposals 
  • Supporting the Group Commercial function with mid term planning 
  • Finance business partnering - challenging constructively 
  • Supporting business units with building budgets and forecasts 


About You
This role is suited to the following candidate:
  • Fully Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA 
  • Commercially minded with experience working within a Commercial Finance role
  • Advanced Excel proficiency with modelling experience 
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience 
  • Comfortable analysing large datasets and producing strategic outputs
  • Good technical knowledge (IFRS)

  • Hybrid working - Sunderland based 
  • 35 hour working week
