Commercial Finance Analyst | Trafford | E-Commerce | Up to £40,000

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a growing & highly acquisitive E-Commerce business in West Manchester who're looking for a Part-Qualified Commercial Finance Analyst to join their growing team.. You will support the FP&A Manager with the technical side of FP&A but also have the ability to work closely and commercial with senior stakeholders.

Salary: up to £40,000

Location: Trafford

Main Duties:

  • Provide support in the preparation of monthly Board Reports including financial and non-financial KPIs.
  • Produce weekly trading reports of business performance and highlight trends to Directors and key stakeholders
  • Daily performance reporting
  • Increase the automation of reports through transferring reports from Excel to Power BI
  • Pro-actively develop innovative reports and analyses to better challenge and support commercial decision-making in an evolving environment
  • Support the Finance team with preparing budgets and forecasts. Subsequently report actual performance against these forecasts.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of existing reports to make the processes more efficient and effective.


Person Specification:

  • Previous experience with visualisation/BI tools e.g. Power BI
  • Proficient with Excel and able to work extensively with numbers and figures
  • Experience in a Finance analyst or similar reporting/analytics role
  • Not necessarily required to hold a Finance qualification but must hold an interest in financial information and the value financial analysis brings to business performance.
