Reporting directly to the head of commercial finance, your duties will include deliverying commercial insight to support business growth.

Duties will include:

  • Creating and producing regular reporting of key metrics with a focus on revenue streams and providing commentary and analysis on key trends
  • Support budget, forecasting and long-term planning process through modelling, analysis, review and consolidation of key inputs
  • Partnering with the other business functions to produce and improve reporting
  • Quarterly financial forecasting including creation of new tools and implementation of new processes to support Business Partners
  • Work with and challenge business partners on a day to day basis, ensuring business understands impact of decisions
  • Process improvement
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of reporting and making improvements to ensure all reporting is timely

Person specification:

  • Confident IT skills and Microsoft Excel is preferable (lookups, pivots, data manipulation)
  • Part-qualified accountant, actively studying towards CIMA/ACMA/ACA
  • Commercial Finance experience is preferable but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build key relationships with business partners
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Finance experience in forecasting and reporting
  • Good commercial awareness
