Commercial Finance Accountant

Heyland Recruitment are currently working with a successful B2B wholesale and distribution company based on the outskirts of Warrington as they looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Accountant into their finance team. Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager the role will assume responsibility for:

• Checking, validating, and processing of contract support claims
• Checking, validating, and processing of rebate claims
• Responsible for rebate accounting
• Regular reconciliations of rebate accruals (at least quarterly)
• Day to day management of e-Bate system
• Regularly updating and liaising with key stakeholders at varying level, both internally and externally.
• Lead on the implementation of new processes and procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance team

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Intermediate spreadsheet skills
• High attention to detail
• Experience with ERP systems
• Finance qualification desired but not essential
• Strong skills in both written and verbal communication
• Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with customers and staff
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Able to challenge and work collaboratively to build trust and respect with colleagues
