About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the ferry transportation industry whilst completing a Level 3 in Business Administration Apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Supporting the Commercial Experience Manager (Eastern Channel & Irish Routes) with the daily operation of all onboard commercial activities.
  • Attending route and OBS meetings, liaising with the Heads of Onboard Services and other key stakeholders.
  • Managing action lists to ensure that tasks are delivered on time.
  • Supporting projects that will deliver operational change across the Dover - Calais, Dover - Dunkerque, and Dunkerque - Rosslare routes.
  • General administration tasks such as tracking purchase orders and arranging meetings and travel.

About you

Our ideal candidate is someone who is looking to pursue a business or operational management career, that is a confident communicator due to the role involving speaking to a wide range of stakeholders. Additionally, you will need to have a good grounding in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint as these are used on a daily basis in this role.

You MUST
have a valid passport as the role will require some travel to visit our vessels in the BU Channel fleet. The commercial business is complex, so you will need to be an engaged learner who is willing to ask questions and explore the operation. Alongside this, the office and vessel environments can be loud and very busy, so an outgoing personality would be an advantage.
