I have a new and exciting position for a British food company who are looking for a Commercial Controller to take on a new part of the business due to substantial growth plans. 

Daily duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Working with procurement and technical teams to refine briefs and quote for new business.  
  • Manage commercial contracts and negotiate to drive projects forward 
  • Developing business with existing accounts whilst seeking out new opportunities 
  • P&L management
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers 
  • Business development activity to promote the new area of the business. 

Is this for you?


The ideal candidate will be a Business Development Manager who is currently working within FMCG.  A strong track record of delivering growth is essential, along with the following: 

  • Strong selling and negotiation experience within FMCG 
  • Experience managing multiple accounts across foodservice and B2B customers 
  • Managed own label ranges together with ingredient solutions for manufacturers 
  • Ability to lead customer agenda across the business.  

The successful candidate will also have a growth mindset with a real results-focus drive to succeed in the FMCG industry.  Entrepreneurial thinking and self starter determination is an absolute must for this role.  

Working hours and location 

This is a full time, permanent position and hybrid working is offered.  the flexibility to work across multiple sites is needed and car mileage is paid for travel.  

As well as a generous salary depending on experience, bonus and private healthcare are also included in the package.
