Commercial Claims Handler - Chippenham

Our client is a successful insurance broker based in the Chippenham area. An exciting position has arisen within their team to deal with a range of personal and commercial claims from a range of clients. If you have claims handling experience and insurance knowledge this is a great opportunity for you.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Good administration and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Acturis experience would be desirable
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s grade 4-9 to include English & Maths.
  • Computer literate with experience of MS office applications.
  • Good communication skills and customer service experience is essential. We require
  • someone who is confident when dealing with clients, Insurers, and colleagues.


THE ROLE

  • To actively manage all claims handling functions
  • To provide a comprehensive claims service to all PSP offices
  • Act as a primary contact point for claims queries from clients and Insurers
  • To negotiate best possible claims outcome for all PSP clients
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Settle claims within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain service levels according to office procedure.
  • Effective liaison with Account Executives and Account Handlers
