This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established independent insurance brokerage in the North Newcastle area. This business is well known for having a low staff turnover and a very high level of client retention. They are able to provide a professional and enjoyable working environment with excellent job security.

In this role you will handle a wide variety of commercial and private client claims from inception through to settlement, working closely with the client to reach the best possible outcome. You will be liaising with all parties including insurers and loss adjuster.

Our client is keen to appoint an individual who is inclined to take ownership of claims, able to interpret policy wording, and not afraid to challenge insurers where necessary in order to reach the best possible outcome for the client.
Although this role is mainly desk based, there may be situations where you need to attend client meetings with the Account Executives to discuss claims / claims prevention.

Ideal applicants will come from a broking claims background with a good all round insurance knowledge and experience handling a wide variety of commercial claims. We are, however, also happy to receive applications from those of you with an insurer or loss adjusting background.
