Commercial Claims Executive

We are currently working with a well known broking group that in turn is part of a very successful insurance group who are now looking to add an experienced Commercial Claims professional to its Claims team, as a Commercial Claims Executive.

This is a genuinely varied role that differs from many other claims positions and, as such, would suit established Claims Executives or Loss Adjusters, as well as desk-based Claims Handlers with the right experience who are seeking to move into a more senior, and higher profile, client-facing role.

You will act as a Claims Executive on the larger, more complex or contentious claims arising with all of the brokerage’s clients, with some site visits required, to investigate the surrounding circumstances and build a robust claim to that brings about a swift, favourable conclusion. You will also work on identifying claims trends and making recommendations that will mitigate the chances and severity of future losses for the business.

You will handle a variety of the firms larger claims (pretty much all commercial classes) including but not limited to, Employers Liability, Public Liability, Motor Fleet, CAR and Property. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality professional advice service to clients regarding any claims issues, liaising with insurers as well as going on site visits. 

As this is a senior Claims role within this broker, to be considered for this role, you will need at least 8-10 years commercial claims experience, be that based at a broker, insurer or loss adjusters. 

You must also possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively and be career driven!  

You will be rewarded with a very competitive starting salary of £50-55k, dependant on experience, plus car allowance.

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
