We are currently recruiting for Broker who are part of a leading player in the UK insurance market now looking to add an ambitious Commercial Account Handler to their team in Wigan.  

Your day-to-day role here will be assisting clients on renewals, new business quotations, managing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding service to them.

You will proactively develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to obtain new business, working with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover and liaising with the broking and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate, as well as actively negotiating with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms.

Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases. Ensuring Retention levels and income targets are achieved. Working with the regional management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues

What's on offer:

A good basic salary of £32-40k and all the normal benefits (Pension, Death in Service etc.)

To be considered for these roles, you will ideally have a solid commercial insurance background of at least 2 years gained at a broker and should be used to using Word, Excel, and wider broking platforms (Acturis in an ideal world)

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
