Commercial Account Handler

We are currently seeking an ambitious, driven and dynamic Commercial Account Handler to join our highly respected client's successful and expanding team

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building effective rapports within existing and new client relationships. You should hold excellent inter-personal and telephone skills as well as the ability to communicate precisely with others as you will be meeting with clients and insurers both in person and over the phone/email. You should be results driven with a proven sales focussed approach to client relationships whilst ensuring excellent customer service and advice is always provided

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing quotations and securing new business

• Processing mid-term adjustments

• Pre-renewal visits and securing the best terms available

• Cross-selling other company insurance products

• Actively contacting prospective clients to offer Professional Indemnity insurance and additional policy extensions

• Acting on opportunities to promote additional cover benefits i.e., Cyber, Public Liability etc.

• Ensuring all documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations & acting in accordance with agreed procedures & protocols under Delegated Authority Schemes

• Assisting with the preparation of external events and exhibitions and attending these where required

Experience in a Commercial Insurance environment as well as knowledge of Professional Indemnity Insurance is an advantage. General SME experience will also be considered.

Cert CII or significant progress towards the qualification would be advantageous

This role is office based initially with the potential to offer hybrid working post training/onboarding period
