  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join the team and contribute to its continued success.

About the Role:

  • As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a pivotal role in helping organisations and businesses protect their assets, manage risk, and ensure they are adequately covered against unforeseen events.
  • You will be responsible for understanding the unique insurance needs of clients, assessing risks, and tailoring insurance solutions to address their specific requirements.

Specific Duties Will Include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of clients.
  • Evaluate client insurance needs and risk exposure.
  • Provide expert advice on insurance coverage and risk management strategies.
  • Source and negotiate insurance policies that offer the best value and protection.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients.
  • Manage and process insurance claims on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and guidelines.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the role of Commercial Account Handler, you must possess the following:

  • Proven experience gained with a commercial insurance broker.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a desire to network within the industry.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to assess and manage risk effectively.
  • An understanding of the relevant classes of business.
  • Ability to prepare client summaries and other documentation as required.
