A well-established insurance group who handles both personal and commercial insurance products, now have an excellent opportunity for those with at least 1-2 years insurance experience to join them as an Account Executive. This offers a super opportunity for someone in personal lines who wants to move into commercial, or someone in account handling in commercial if you want to take the next step in your insurance sales career. This will be based from the Washington office.

The purpose of the role is to provide quotations for New Business for Taxi, Motor Trade and general commercial insurance, and to assist the Branch and be a referral point for the Assistants. The role requires dealing with clients over the phone and via e-mail to ensure retention and sales targets are maximised as well as client visits and networking events. As such you will need to be tenacious and pro active when it comes to developing leads and new business.

We are keen to hear from you if you are sales focused, self-motivated, driven & can deliver excellent customer service whilst adhering to your individual underwriting authority limits. You may only have previous experience as a broker but as long as you are willing to learn, the company is happy to train you on the underwriting side of things.

You must have at least 1 years insurance experience, gained at either a broker or insurer, and this can be commercial or personal lines based. 

Salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience, plus excellent bonuses available after probation (£5-8k per annum, paid monthly)

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
