Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Colorectal Registrar Registrar to join our prestigious medical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to advance their career and contribute to the delivery of high-quality colorectal care.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist colorectal care to patients with colorectal conditions, including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and functional disorders.
  • Perform clinical assessments, investigations, and procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient management plans and coordinate treatment strategies.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open colorectal surgeries.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing colorectal interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to clinical audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance colorectal services and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of core surgical training and entry onto the GMC Specialist Register (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in colorectal surgery and management of colorectal conditions in a hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
