We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join our client's team in Poole, United Kingdom.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented CNC Turner Programmer to join our client's manufacturing team in Poole. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in CNC turning operations, coupled with the ability to program and operate CNC turning machines efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Develop and implement machining processes and tooling strategies to optimise production output and minimise cycle times.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC turning equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Perform thorough quality inspections of machined components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Turner Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming CNC turning machines using G-code.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience with Fanuc CNC controls is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.

Salary:

£34,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications, with Overtime available.
