Our well-established client in Blackburn is searching for a talented individual to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of your work, from interpreting blueprints to programming and operating CNC machines to produce top-quality components.

What you’ll do:

  • Program and operate CNC turning and milling machines (Mazak controls preferred)
  • Utilize your expertise to ensure all components meet precise specifications
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes
  • Continuously improve your skills and stay up-to-date on the latest CNC technologies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a CNC Programming Turner/Miller role
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and practices
  • Experience with Mazak controls a significant advantage
  • Excellent programming skills and a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to safety and quality

Job Type: Temp to perm

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
