Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Gloucester

Contract Details: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to ensure the production of high-quality components while adhering to work schedules. Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various CNC Machining Centres.
  • Produce small to medium-sized batches of components.
  • Occasional operation of CNC Lathes and conventional machines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high production efficiency.
  • Assist in the upkeep of tooling.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proficiency in working with engineering drawings in both metric and imperial units.
  • Ability to manufacture components to tight tolerances and meet high-quality standards.
  • Self-inspection capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CNC control systems, preferably FANUC and/or Pro-track (XYZ). Training will be provided.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within a small, friendly team.
