CNC/CAD:CAM Programmer

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience

Location: Hainault, Essex

The Role:

My client requires a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator/CAD CAM Programmer to support in their established Production Department on a permanent basis.

Job Profile:

Skilled and experienced CNC Lathe and VMC Programmer/Setter/Operator, CAD CAM Programmer. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for training and helping a trainee. Machines currently used are:

Colchester Tornado x2

Dugard 100 Y+DD VMC Fanuc 0iMF Control, Nikken 5 axis

Fusion 360 design package

Duties:

CNC Lathe and VMC Programmer/Setter/Operator

Programming CNC Mills using Offline CAM

CAD CAM Programmer

Deburr and inspect own work

Machining to tight tolerances of varying complexities

Assist in the development of new methods and systems aimed at improving manufacturing effectiveness

Skills and Experience:

Programme Set and Operate CNC Mills / Machining Centres

Must be competent using Fanuc and Siemens controls

Experienced in offline CAM programming

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Able to machine to fine tolerances

Experience working with a variety of materials (mainly metals)

CAD Design experience essential

Minimum of 5 years' experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday, 1/2 hr lunch

Annual Leave 28 days including Bank Holidays

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience
