CNC Programmer

We are exciting to recruiting for a CNC Programmer for our client in South shore Blackpool. This role is an easy commute for people travelling from Preston, Garstang, Lytham, Kirkham, Bispham and Layton

CNC Programmer Hours: 6am or 7am - 4pm or 5pm Monday - Thursday (flexibe)

CNC Programmer Salary: £35,000- £40,000

CNC Programmer roles and responsibilities:

• Programme and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications

• Develop and optimise CNC programmes using CAM software

• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet expected quality standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve any machining or programming issues

• Mentoring team apprentice ensuring they are fully supported with expertise.

• Always ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements and maintaining a safe and clean environment

The ideal CNC Programmer will be:

• Proficient in the programming and operating of 5 Axis machines

• Excellent eye for detail

• Solid understanding of CAM software and G-code programming

• Strong IT Skills with experience of using Microsoft Office applications

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

• Good communication skills

• Fun, team player, who is helpful

• Tebis CAD/CAM Trim Trained and FARO CAM20 Trained (advantageous)
