CNC Programmer

Perm Role, £30k-£33k pa DOE, Days, Mon-Thurs, 37hrs per week

WETHERBY

Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer to work for a Precision Engineering firm based in Wetherby.

The business is commutable from York, Leeds or Harrogate and this is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team who take pride in their work.

Required Experience:

· Experienced tool room operative within the engineering sector

· Excellent CNC/manual milling and turning skills

· Capable of reading complex engineering drawings

· Over 5 years’ experience of manual milling/turning or 5 years’ experience CNC programming, setting and operation

· Good working knowledge of FANUC controls and programming

· Strong understanding of providing accuracy and quality

· Must have attention to detail, flexibility and have a team player mentality

Other desired skills required include:

· A good understanding of CAD/CAM (Autodesk) ideally Fusion 360

· Familiar with Heidenhain controls and programming

· Experience in engineering a wide range of specialist materials including Heavy Flame cut Structural Steels, High tensile steel, Aluminium, Brass, Bronze and Acetal

· Experience of working to ISO9001:2015

· C/B FLT License would be beneficial

The core working hours for this role are 37hrs per week, 7.30am to 5.15pm from Monday to Thursday with regular Overtime available. Due to the location of the site, candidates will need access to their own transport. The initial salary for the role is up to £33k pa Depending on Experience and the role is advertised as Permanent.
