Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a CNC Programmer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience creating CNC programs for CNC Milling and would have worked with high-precision components/parts.

Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm OR 8am – 5pm, Friday 7am-12pm

Job Specification
  • CNC Programming/ CADs using Siemens NX Unigraphics Version 12
  • Produce 3 and 5 axis CNC programs and set up CNC Milling machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Manufacture Jigs and Fixtures to enable development of first time run/components
  • Carry out the measurement and inspection of components
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement initiatives by improving efficiency wherever possible

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience carrying out a similar role, creating CNC programs for CNC Milling machines
  • Accomplished working within a precision manufacturing environment
  • Well-versed using CAD/CAM software
  • Previous experience setting and operating CNC machines
