We are working with a manufacturing / production company based in Bodmin that is seeking a CNC specialist to join their engineering team.

Day and Night Shift available + Generous Shift Allowances

The company is seeking a skilled CNC programmer who is able to also use CAD/CAM software to create CNC programs and the supporting documentation for setting. The successful applicant will be part of a highly-skilled engineering team and will be responsible for the technical engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating CNC programs and accompanying documentation
  • Creating processes and defining their parameters
  • Developing programs that ensure maximum efficiency
  • Working alongside the Quality Team to ensure quality processes are in place and followed

The ideal applicant would:

  • Have experience of using CAD/CAM to produce CNC tool programs
  • Have knowledge of multi-axis programming
  • Have sound knowledge of turning/milling metal processes
  • Be keen to manage projects and determine appropriate production methods and strategies
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, innovative and supportive environment
