We are working with a high-quality Precision Engineering company that works in the submarine, nuclear, automotive, and medical sectors for the permanent role of a: -

CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

Hours - Mon- Thurs 7.30 am - 4 pm, Fridays - 7 am - 12.30 pm

Overtime is available as and when and is paid at x1.5

Job Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning and milling.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, jigs, and tools.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and machine performance.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot equipment and machine issues as required.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 + years of CNC Milling
• Experience in using programming software
• Experience of HAAS and Fanuc Desirable
• Good Knowledge of tooling and machine processes
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Ability to perform assembly tasks when required
