We are currently working with an engineering company based in Rugby, who are now  looking to add a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to existing team, to help support growth and the implementation of technology.
 
The client focuses on high value and technical CNC milling and turning applications, who supply into a wide variety of different industries including Engineering, Aerospace, and Automotive.
 
The role of the CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator will involve:
  • Program, set and operate jobs
  • Offline and online programming
  • Working on a 4 axis milling machine.
  • Working off own initaitive
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain ,Fanuc Controls and Mill +
  • Knowledge of Mastercam
 
The Ideal Candidate for the CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator will be:
 
  • A qualified and ambitious individual who is seeking a new career challenge with an industry-leading precision engineering company.
  • Is technically minded and has CNC machine tool background
  • Ideally has at least 10 years experience with CNC Milling
  • Is organised and can work efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
 
This is an outstanding position for someone who is working at CNC milling on the shop floor and wants to move to a position involving managing manufacturing processes from a business perspective.  This position involves working with a company that operates with a strong business ethos and can offer a great opportunity for the right candidate.  In return the CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator can expect to receive a competitive salary, depending on experience; work a straight day shift, and enjoy free parking on site.
