Our clients are a dynamic company, small yet diverse and with extensive knowledge and skills in their industry! They are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator within the stone industry.

CNC Operator Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate 5 axis Stone CNC machining centers & 3 axis Waterjet CNC machining centers
• Programming, and creation and interpretation of CNC drawings
• Machine & plant maintenance
• Tool stocking & checking of tools
• Daily pre-operation checks on your specific machines
• Quality control & checking of manufactured products
• Design for Manufacture (DFM) thinking and analysis
• Assist with general shop floor housekeeping and maintenance and day-to-day operations of factory floor
• Compliance with all H&S policies and procedures

The ideal CNC Operator will:

• Hold a recognized qualification within engineering
• Gained experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Ideally experience working with CAD and thinking in 3D
• Understanding of construction / masonry drawings
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Basic understanding of CNC operation
