Interaction Recruitment are working with a well established company based in Chesterfield who due to expansion are looking for a CNC Machinist to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

CNC Machinist:
Hourly rate: £14 - £16 per hour dependant on experience.

Working Monday - Friday Days only
Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 4:45pm
Friday - 7:45am - 2:15pm

CNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Competent CNC turner and skilled machinist.
  • Able to programme, operate, and set machines.
  • Experience working on FANUC control systems.
  • The ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Working to tight tolerances.
  • Competent on all aspects of setting tools, including understanding cutting speeds and feeds.
  • Experienced in programming and understanding G codes for all cycles roughing, finishing, boring, drilling, and threading.
  • Strong experience using measurement and inspection equipment including verniers, bore gauges, and micrometers.
  • Carrying out de-burring or machined components during production cycles ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Highly motivated and can work well in a team.
  • Maintaining work areas in a safe, clean and orderly manner including conformance with ISO9001 standards.
