Job Type: Temporary to perm (with potential for permanent placement after 13 weeks)

About Us: We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Profile Burning Operator for a client based in Gateshead. This role offers the opportunity for a permanent position after successfully completing a 13-week temporary period through our agency.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in CNC profile burning, particularly with flame cutting
  • Previous work experience operating with steel materials
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC setting and operating
  • Skills in metal dressing and finishing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform profile burning tasks, including flame cutting of steel components
  • Ensure precision and quality in the cutting and shaping of metal parts according to specifications
  • Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as necessary, and conduct quality checks
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Hours and Salary:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Competitive salary of £14.50 per hour based on experience
