CNC Miller

Based in Tewkesbury, my client is looking to recruit a Semi Skilled CNC Miller to join the expanding team.

Ideally the position would suit somebody who is capable of setting and operating a mill with fanuc controls.

The type of work is high precision complex component parts.

Main Duties:

• Read & understand a 2D drawing[views and tolerancing]
• Edit machine offsets or change cutters/tips and re -inspect next item produced
• Set up and operate CNC MILL or MILL/TURN
• Inspect own work to drawing
• Fully fixture and tool[cutters] to produce component to drawing

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in milling or turning
• Experience in minor machine/offset edits
• Experience of setting & operating CNC milling or mill/turn machines
• Experience of working to engineering drawings or work instructions[Job Cards]
• Knowledge of Aerospace Quality or similar[oil & gas]

Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: 39 hours per week

Salary: £14.80 - £16.80 per hour
