Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. If you have experience in a production environment and possess a range of machining skills, this could be the perfect role for you!


Rates - £16.26p/h
Shifts - 7am - 3pm - M-F

Responsibilities:
* Work to drawings and specifications to produce high-quality machined components
* Operate manual lathes and surface grinders to achieve precision results
* Perform assembly work and assist with general workshop tasks
* Maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order
* Strive for excellent housekeeping to maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
* Support production activities by handling materials and maintaining inventory
* Contribute to health, safety, and environmental initiatives, including risk assessments and incident reporting
* Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, promoting quality, cost, and delivery performance
* Contribute to achieving company targets in relation to quality, cost, and delivery

Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in a production environment as a machinist
* Proficiency in operating manual lathes and surface grinders
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise specifications
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practises
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
