Our client, a precision engineering company, seek to appoint an experienced CNC Machinist to programme set and operate a number of machines in their state of the art factory. This is a permanent night shift. On offer is a competitive hourly rate with a great business known for treating their staff well.

CNC Machinist - Role and Responsibilities - Turning / Machining / Fanuc / Precision Engineering

* Programming, setting and operating precision engineering machinery
* Programming, setting and operating with Fanuc controls
* Overcome any tooling and set up problems encountered when machining component
* Adhere to Machine / Department 5S and support Quality / Business Improvement initiatives

CNC Machinist - Skills and Abilities - Turning / Fanuc / Machining / Precision Engineering

* Formal qualification in machining, with CNC bias, ideally apprentice trained
* Ability to program preferred
* Ability to use associated measuring equipment, mics, verniers etc
* Confident with a positive and friendly attitude
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
