Do you have a background in precision engineering as a CNC Machinist or Fabricator, looking for a unique opportunity to come off the tools, and ready to progress into a technical management role in a growing company which supplies into a diverse range of industries, such as marine and aerospace, working with companies such as Babcock?

Are you seeking a varied and versatile role off the tools, where you will take on a plethora of responsibilities, from technical estimating to sales and workshop management, through extensive on-the-job training which will rapidly advance your career, where you can step into management in 18-20 months?

On offer is the opportunity for a CNC machinist/fabricator to join a dynamic team and use their talents to influence the daily operations of a growing workshop. You will be responsible for supporting the technical manager in a range of areas, including sales, creating technical estimates, management of the workshop and various other HR / Finance duties.

The Role:

• Fully off the tools - working in an office environment
• Process customer needs and provide technical estimates
• Assist with the organisation and management of the workshop
• General admin duties
• Finance and HR duties
• Sales activities
• Join technical management in the field

The Person:

• A background in either machining or fabrication (manual or digital)
• Ability to read technical drawings
