Our client based in the Sheffield are an accredited engineering company with years of experience machining a variety of different materials are currently recruiting for a CNC Horizontal Borer to join their reputable team.

CNC Horizontal Borer Benefits:

  • Salary £15 to £17 per hour DOE plus overtime paid at time and a third & time and a half
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7am to 4pm & Friday's 7am to 12 noon
  • Temp to Perm or straight Permanent position
  • Based in the Sheffield
  • 33 days holiday (including stats)
  • Free on-site parking

CNC Horizontal Borer Role:

  • Working closely from conventional engineering drawings and ensuring all work is of the highest standard
  • Setting and operating a range of Horizontal Borers
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Responsible for inspecting and measuring own work throughout manufacturing process.

CNC Horizontal Borer Criteria:

  • Apprentice trained
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent understanding and compliance with Health and safety in the workplace
  • Works effectively as part of a team and alone
  • Takes pride in your work and ensure that each product meets the company's high standards
  • Demonstrate drive and passion for your work
  • Excellent written and communication skills
