Our client who are based in Totton and manufacture a comprehensive range of integrated facade components are looking for a CNC operator / setter to work on the night shift.

Details below:

  • Setter/Operator for Bystronic Xact Smart Pressbrake machines
  • Must have experience running this type of machine
  • Create and enter CNC programmes into the Pressbrake controller
  • Set the machine using the correct tooling appropriate to the programme/component
  • Manipulate component and machine to form components to drawing
  • Check and inspect the folded component to the drawing and adjust as necessary
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and understand the development of sheet metal components
  • Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
  • Heavy lifting involved
  • Flexibility to carry out other duties in the factory as and when required
  • Own transport is essential
  • Current first aid certificate - Desirable not essential

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 17:30 to 05:30. Enhanced pay rate of £14.01 per hour, plus overtime kicks in at 40 hours = 6 hours of overtime a week.
