Clinical Specialist Molecular Imaging (PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine) Technologist/Radiographer

Location: London Based Private Hospital. Outstanding CQC rated.

Molecular Imaging Department incorporates all aspects of oncology and non-oncology radioisotope imaging as well as radioisotope therapy.

Contract Type: Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs Shifts 7.5hours within an 08:00 to 18:00 working day.

Salary:£49,000 - £54,000 per annum + excellent Employee benefits package Pension and private Health insurance.

Vacancy Summary:

Are you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic Molecular Imaging Technologist? would you like to be part of our friendly, fast paced and forward-thinking Molecular Imaging departments. The role involves actively supporting and training junior staff with a positive team ethos.

Role and expectations:

  • You will ideally be an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist on the RCT or a HCPC registered Radiographer with postgraduate Nuclear Medicine Training.
  • Previous experience in CT is also essential.
  • Train and support junior staff
  • Work directly with Consultants to clarify and discuss complex cases and examinations.
  • You will deliver quality diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care.
  • You will need be both flexible and adaptable to support the service.
  • Perform a wide range of NM and PET/CT procedures to a high standard.
  • Assist in developing and formulating policy and procedures.
  • Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.

Skills & Experience and Qualifications required:

  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Clinical Technology, specialising in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Valid HCPC or RCT registration
  • Post qualification senior level work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PETCT .
  • Previous CT experience is required.
