Clinical Nurse Specialist - Epilepsy

Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Epilepsy to work at one of our Trusts.

To act as a Specialist in Epilepsy to promote best practice in the treatment and care of people with Epilepsy. To take the lead in providing a seamless, high quality service to adults with Epilepsy throughout MK community in partnership with the Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust MKUHT) Epilepsy Specialist Nurse. To provide support, advice and education to patients, families and carers. To advise patients with a diagnosis of Epilepsy in management of the condition, medication, safety and lifestyle issues.

Pay Rate: £34/h

What you'll need as a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Epilepsy:

  • NMC registration and educated to degree level
  • At least 2 years of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience and knowledge of implementing safeguarding procedures for children and adults
  • Experience of peer supervision supervising colleagues in the multi- disciplinary team and consultation in other agency settings
