Your new firm

You will be working for a leading firm with a comprehensive network of offices in the UK and abroad. This firm is committed to supporting local communities; they manage to balance an international presence with a local feel. They are currently seeking an NQ+ Clinical Risk Solicitor to join their team in Bristol. The firm offers a hybrid arrangement - with a balance of at home and in office work.

Your new role

This defendant clinical negligence role will see you handle an interesting and broad ranging caseload for a range of clients. The Bristol team are market leaders and are thriving so you can expect to enjoy high quality work from the outset. As a Clinical Risk solicitor you will be handling a challenging caseload of high value defendant clinical negligence work across all medical specialisms. You will be acting as first and primary contact for clients on a day to day basis providing them with commercially focused legal advice. You will be responsible for handling a varied workload in accordance with client protocols and with an appropriate level of supervision.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a Clinical Risk Solicitor, ideally with defendant experience, however applications are welcomed from good quality claimant clinical negligence lawyers who are keen to make the move into defendant medical negligence work. If joining at the NQ level, it is preferable that you have completed a seat in Clinical Risk/Negligence, however this is not essential. The firm are also interested in hearing from bright, technically able solicitors with a litigation background who are looking to move into clinical negligence work. You will possess excellent relationship and client handling skills and will also be able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues.

What you'll get in return

You will have the opportunity to work for a national Clinical Risk market leader and a firm with both a global reach, and significant presence in the Bristol market. You will receive a generous salary and good benefits package, together with on-going career development support throughout your career.
