This remarkable law firm are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Clinical Negligence practice based in London.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in handling complex clinical negligence cases, including a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Substantial experience in managing a variety of clinical negligence cases. This is from initial client consultation to resolution, with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effectively advising clients, collaborating with colleagues, and representing the firm in various settings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing counsel on complex and high-value claimant clinical negligence claims (approximately 80% of workload) and personal injury claims (20%)
  • Conducting case work on liability, causation, and quantum matters while adhering to procedural and funding guidelines
  • You will be collaborating closely with Partners in advising their esteemed clientele, supervising junior staff and delegating tasks accordingly
  • Attending client meetings and conferences with counsel
  • Conducting legal research using various resources and managing case documentation
  • Identifying and nurturing potential referral sources
  • Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct and maintaining high standards of legal work, administration, and financial performance.
