Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • To manage relationships with UK intermediary/wholesale Clients and prospects as directed, to deliver sales of products consistent with UK business plan.
  • Actively manage your account list, demonstrating strong work ethics and time management skills. As well as developing and maintaining high levels of contact activity by phone, email and VC. You will occasionally be required to attend in person meetings and events.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely preparation and return of responses to client queries and present Investments in a thoroughly professional light.
  • Be able to identify sales opportunities at all levels and secure presentations, roadshows & seminars where there is true business value as agreed with line manager.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of key products relevant to the market and demonstrate the ability to articulate and discuss with confidence to a client.
  • Answer product questions and provide fund information including performance data.
  • Work with legal to coordinate client agreements and fee schedules and assist them in having the appropriate agreements reviewed and signed.
  • Coordinate with operations on issues including Account Openings, EMX cash flow issues, and various fund related issues as well as work  with Finance and Reporting on all client account related issues including retro payments and client inquiries.
  • Provide regular and comprehensive feedback to Head of BD and all other team members. The feedback process should be considered an essential part of the planning/execution/feedback loop.
  • Ad hoc project work and client data requests.
  • Seek to establish long term, productive business relationships across the UK based on honesty, integrity and working transparency combined with professional discretion.

The role requires:

  • At least three years' investment experience, knowledge of the UK Wholesale and Retail markets and ideally experience working with UK Platforms.
  • Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent and holder of IMC.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and manage time effectively to achieve objectives.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft a clear and compelling sales message.
  • You will be a team player and develop good working relationship with both the team and colleagues across the business.
