Client Relations & Project Manager | Fast Growth Music Distribution Business


Harmonic are delighted to be working on a retained basis with one of the UK music industry's fastest growing management and distribution businesses, in the search for a Client Relations & Project Manager, in an exciting new era for the organisation.

The Business:

Having scaled year on year since inception 15 years ago, our client boasts a fantastic reputation within the industry, working in conjunction with some of the biggest players, such as Spotify, 7digital, YouTube and more. Tailored towards artists, brands and record labels worldwide, the business offer services to their clients to ensure music is both available and monetised across the globe.

With cutting edge music management systems, PRO tools to maximise specific distribution requirements and a specific and tailored client support team, our client are truly an industry leading SME in the music space and are well placed to continue along their forecasted growth trajectory.

The Role:

With headcount for the business at 10 and looking to grow consistently over the next 12 - 18 months, this position represents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in their scaling and will offer exposure to a variety of duties as a result. Reporting into 2 values led Directors with an exceptional level of experience and understanding of the industry, this candidate will also be responsible for developing and mentoring junior candidates in the team.

Offering hybrid working, the role will be focused on maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing and potential new clients, while also leading on the development of multiple exciting projects, in line with the entrepreneurial mindset of the senior leadership team. The connections to international events such as IMS and ADE also mean there will be great opportunities for international travel with the business.

Main duties:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and drive revenue
  • Act as a key point of contact between clients and team, ensuring client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Lead junior members of team, focusing on fostering a culture of growth, efficiency, and high performance
  • Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and distribution, to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation, contributing to the company's growth and competitive edge.

  • Previous experience with rights management / royalties

Salary: £45k - £60k (potential flex for ideal candidate) + great benefits package
